Return & Refund Policy

At Heartland Hats, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all tags attached.

What Can Be Returned

  • Unworn t-shirts, hoodies, and apparel with original tags
  • Hats in original condition with tags attached
  • Accessories in unused condition

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or personalized items
  • Items marked as final sale
  • Worn, washed, or altered items
  • Items without original tags or packaging

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us at gear@heartland-hats.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll send you return shipping instructions and a return authorization number.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was defective or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Please note: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund (unless the return is due to our error).

Exchanges

We accept exchanges for different sizes or colors of the same item, subject to availability. To request an exchange, please contact us at gear@heartland-hats.com with your order number.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at gear@heartland-hats.com with photos of the damage. We'll arrange for a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
